Honkai Impact 3rd to Launch v7.0 [Re: Promise to Luna] on OCT 26

The reunion with Luna after a long time apart, and a new adventure on Mars!

OCT 20, 2023 — The Honkai Impact 3rd team announces today that the action title is releasing v7.0 [Re: Promise to Luna] on OCT 26! Under the blood moon, the vampire will finally have the long-awaited reunion with Captain. Besides, in the main story, Captain will fight against a new type of enemy known as SD-type. What's more, regarding the upcoming Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2, the team would also like to share some information with everyone!

Honkai Impact 3rd is set in a modern world corrupted by mysterious energy known as Honkai. A tenacious resistance formed by Valkyries, brave girls carrying anti-Honkai genes, leads humanity in a war of survival and fights for everything that is beautiful in the world. The game has been continuously winning an international following ever since its debut! In the following year of 2024, the game will also launch the brand-new Part 2, bringing an exhilarating and immersive experience to all fans and players!

In the upcoming v7.0, the vampire under the blood moon – Theresa, will reunite with Captain again after a long separation. While time may have changed her looks and attitude, she still has her same old fiery passion, and also her penchant for super powerful weaponry. Theresa's Lunar Vow: Crimson Love is an S-rank PSY-type Lightning DMG dealer. She fights by wielding a cross that can turn into a chainsaw in battle. To protect the ones she loves, even an elegant vampire like her will show you just how brutal she can get when it's no holds barred. When her chainsaw has enough charge during battles, she will enter a frenzy and wield dual chainsaws, slashing quicker and quicker. When she casts her Ultimate, Theresa splits her chainsaw into two, dashes in front of enemies, and starts slashing away. Then, she jumps under a blood moon and finishes everything off in a splendid way.

Following Griseo and Fu Hua's trail, Captains will take one step closer to uncovering the truth in the upcoming main story. There will also be a new type of enemy coming up, known as SD-type, and it doesn't have any counters against currently available types – but an SD-type battlesuit will still counter SD-type enemies. SD-type enemies can take both Embodied and Consolidated forms, and the transformation between two forms resulting from HP drops will bring in new damage dealing mechanics, which greatly adds strategic aspects to consider in the battlefield.

Last but not least, the Honkai Impact 3rd team will shed light on the highly anticipated Part 2 of the game. The brand-new story will take place on Mars, and Oxia City will be the first stage where all plots gradually unfold. Oxia City has a modern metropolises' vibe that players are all probably familiar with — vibrant, technologically advanced, and culturally diverse. Here, Captains can take on the role of a support character referred to as the "Dreamseeker", and embark on adventures with a group of friends with distinct personalities. In the united team, there is Senadina, the redhead with a mysterious background, also a girl that brings a smile to everyone's face; Next up, Coralie — she might seem a bit reserved at first glance, but she is actually pretty chatty if get to know her more. There is also Helia who leads Coralie's Mars exploration team, she is an active A-rank Valkyrie of Schicksal. New stage and new friends — what kind of story will they weave?
