JAN 12, 2024 — The Honkai Impact 3rd team announces today that the action title is releasing v7.2 The Wings to Mars in January of 2024! As the linking version preparing for a journey to Mars, this time, bountiful version events will await Captains! For instance, Wild Phoenix Chase weaves the stories of Fu Hua and Senti's adventures on tracking down the mischievous Jingwei, and Fu Hua's new battlesuit Fenghuang of Vicissitude will be available by then. In addition, the warm-up event The Star Which the Moon Gazes Upon will include story stages and challenge stages, where Kiana, Durandal and Bronya will take the responsibility as mentors in turn, teaching Helia and Coralie, the main characters of Part 2, the three important combat courses before they head to Mars! What changes have taken place in the growth of the three tutors over the years, and what are the unforgettable moments shared between them and their pupils? Honkai Impact 3rd is set in a modern world corrupted by mysterious energy known as Honkai. After the long journey Fu Hua has gone through, now she can finally kick back and just be herself as peace has returned to the world. The most anticipated Active Honkai Reaction Garuda form of Fu Hua that made a brilliant debut in Version Kiana last year will finally get on board. Fenghuang of Vicissitude, the BIO-type melee fighter dealing Fire DMG, is the first-ever battlesuit with the mechanism that keeps her undying on the battlefield. The upcoming version event Wild Phoenix Chase tells the story of Fu Hua and Senti's new travel: they will gather various marbles and souvenirs along the way, and deal damage to enemies by shooting marbles at different mechanisms. To take on these challenges, each character will showcase their exclusive skills, and Captains will also pick up various souvenirs that can provide those characters with significant buffs along the way. In this event story, they've also attended Shigure Kira's concert. This time, her outfit, Tonight's My Time! features a deep red in overall design, giving off a classic idol vibe. It's finally time to witness Kirastar's idol dream come true!
The limited-time event The Star Which the Moon Gazes Upon will serve as a significant link to Part 2, and it will include different story stages and challenge stages, and Captains need to help complete Helia and Coralie's combat training. In Course 1, various mechanisms are set up in the training ground. When Helia approaches the mechanisms, she activates them to defeat enemies, and her weapon usage will be restricted. At the same time, she can use Ultimate Evasion to avoid enemy attacks and gain a large amount of energy. When fully charged, Helia can cast her support skill and call upon Durandal to deliver a powerful blow to enemies!
In Course 2, Bronya will show off her superb combat skills for Coralie, and Coralie will activate turrets on the field to attack enemies. As the main enemy in this course, Benares possesses three shields that are weak to either Fire, Lightning, or Ice. During the battle, you need to approach the elemental turrets and activate the corresponding one to break the shield.
Regarding Course 3, it's all about bombing enemies for an easy victory. Kiana, Helia, and Coralie will join forces in battle and work closely together. Periodically, Coralie will open a black hole in the center of the field to pull in and bomb all enemies, while Helia will provide support by giving Kiana a shield. Captains who complete the courses and achieve the challenge objectives will receive rewards such as Crystals, AE Imaginons, Ancient Willpowers, and tons of other in-game rewards! Apart from all that, Herrscher of Flamescion's outfit Time Runner will also have a re-run!
The v7.2 update will be released on iOS, Android, and PC on JAN 18, 2024. New battlesuit, limited-time events, and bountiful rewards will all be available by then!
